Black Walnut Love Flute – A Major

USD $306

It’s not often we craft flutes in the Major key – however after a love for exploring this awesome and uplifting scale on a smaller flute, it was time to get an A Major Love Flute made. This is a fun and easy flute to play, with only 5 holes on top, and a very intuitive scale to dance around with. The flute features two turquoise bands around the mouthpiece and foot.

Enjoy!

  • About the wood

Black Walnut, as a flute-wood, has a voice that is bright, clear, and strong, due to the hardness of the wood. The wood colour is typically a swirling combination of browns and blacks. This is often a highly figured wood, with knot inclusions and other wild grain patterns. Black Walnut is native to America and is grown in New Zealand.

    About the stone

Turquoise is a sacred stone used for centuries by the Native American’s in all healing work. This is a stone of peace, serenity and tranquillity. Southern Cross Flutes uses only natural undyed turquoise.
